Aztec postman

Sooo.... Another crazy idea
What if those amazing sculptures that aztecs built were kindly pets, like dogs? Well, I think you know the rest of the story, the main problem of a postman and a dog

The truth is that in this picture I proved a lot of new things I'm trying to color the line art (I still have to continue practicing). And to control better the balance between saturated colors. Most of the people always tell me that my drawings are a boom of colors, and it's true I love colors. But this can give me problems when I have to color a full-background illustration. I always color with the same importance all the drawing: the backgrounds, the characters.... and sometimes that become my drawings a little messy. So I'm trying to improve the control of colors
(by the way, this doesn't means that my drawings will be less colorful, I just want to give them more depth

Otra idea loca
Pues, ¿que pasaría si esas esculturas aztecas se comportasen como mascotas, igual que un perro? Bueno, creo que el resto ya lo saben, los carteros a veces tienen problemas con los perros jejeje

He experimentado bastante en este dibujo. Para empezar he intentado colorear el trazado, que siempre me queda negro y muy grueso. Aunque no me acaba de convencer, tengo que seguir practicando. Por otro lado, he intentado controlar un poco mejor el balance de colores saturados. la gente suele decirme que mis dibujos son un boom de colores, cosa que no niego en absoluto jajaja Pero eso me trae problemas cuando coloreo un dibujo con fondo. Coloreo con la misma importancia tooodo el dibujo, y al final uno se acaba confundiendo o queda desordenado. Así que estoy haciendo un esfuerzo para controlar mejor el coloreado
(Esto no quiere decir que mis dibujos dejen de ser colorido, adoro el color, pero intentaré darle más profundidad )

EDIT: No entiendo porque al subir el dibujo en devianart los colores se apagaron un poco ...hmmm ¿será que ahora dA también me quiere vacilar con mi descontrol de colores en mis dibujos ?
